Large 41 peg round loom
Loom pick
2 skeins Cascade Pluscious
1 Skein Cascade Pacific
First sash:
1.
Purl on 13 pegs for the first row using
Pluscious and Pacific together.
2. For entire project, Purl first three pegs from
BOB at the beginning of every row.
3.
E-wrap the following rows of 10 pegs for 35
rows, or until the length is approximately the same as the diameter of your
loom.
Triangle portion:
1.
E-wrap row 36. When beginning row 37, single
e-wrap peg 14.
2.
Continue e-wrapping all rows making sure to e-wrap
one additional peg at the beginning of all rows returning to BOB.
3.
After your first 4 increased e-wrap rows, bind
off the 14th peg. (that is your first peg wrapped/ added after the
sash) to bind off peg, simply move over to peg on either side and knit
over.
4.
There should now be the 13 pegs of the sash,
an empty peg and 3 wrapped pegs.
5.
E-wrap 4 more rows, not forgetting to add a
peg at the beginning of each row returning to BOB. Note: There
should now be 13 pegs of sash, an empty peg and 7 wrapped pegs.)
6. Repeat
bind off step, with the center wrapped peg of the 7 available to complete 6
total bind offs.
7.
Continue to add a peg at the beginning of each
row returning to BOB until all pegs are used.
8.
E-wrap around to BOB and back 5 times making
sure to to leave skipped pegs open.
9.
With working yarn at first peg, reduce by one
peg on the other end. Simply lift stitch off last two pegs and move last stitch
forward and replace original stitch...then knit over.
10.
As the rows are reduced, double wrap the empty
pegs when within 3.
11.Repeat reducing every
time you return to the beginning peg until you get to your original 13 peg
width.
Second Sash:
2. Bind off loom. Complete with finishing work, or fringe.
Enjoy!!!
Enjoy!!!
Thank you so much for this great pattern! I am eagerly trying it! I have a couple of questions. I am on step 6, repeat bind off step, with the center wrapped peg of the 7 available to complete 6 total bind offs. Is peg 14 counted as one of the six total bind offs? Also on step10, it says, as the rows are reduced, double wrap the empty pegs when within 3. I am not sure what this means. Thank you again for the wonderful pattern! I apologize for my lack of understanding!
